Steam locomotives require intensive maintenance and care as well as careful control of the functionality of all individual parts and assemblies. In order not to have to bring their locomotives to one of the large repair shops for every revision and repair work, many railway depots were given their own repair shops based on this PIKO kit. Freight and passenger cars can of course also be repaired here.
Particularly attractive: The laying of the repair track in the passage of the imposing factory building. The doors can be opened and closed.
