The international forwarding company Schenker & Co. has long been a representative of the central logistics theme in WIKING’s model range. The latest addition to this product family is the Mercedes-Benz LPS 333 with the large Pullman cab. Its real-world sibling once drove for the Vienna branch of Schenker & Co. and the model is not only authentic in its design, but also comes with a trailer that is a spot-on imitation of the one used at the time. WIKING kicked off the era of glazed models with the prototype made by body manufacturer Ackermann, creating a beautiful semi-trailer that the traditional model builders managed to shape into an identical two-axle machine thanks to newly built moulds. The presentation of the semi-trailer goes along with the engravings on the sides of the loading door.
