Originally developed in 1948 for agricultural purposes, the Land Rover quickly became a popular off-road vehicle for expeditions, the military, and aid organizations thanks to its robustness. The early Series I–III were assigned simple numbers, while from Series IV (1983) onward, the models were called Ninety (90-inch wheelbase) and One Ten (110-inch). Later, the series was renamed “Defender.”
The Busch model depicts the Defender 90 County Station Wagon in meticulous detail in H0 scale: its angular body, contrasting roof, transparent headlights and indicators, characteristic interior, and chunky tires make it a true highlight of any off-road vehicle collection.
