Veolia Environnement emerged from the water supply company Compagnie Générale des Eaux (CGE) founded by Emperor Napoleon III in Paris (France) in 1853 and has undergone several name changes. Worldwide (as of 2022), the company has around 220,000 employees, 5% of whom work at almost 250 locations in Germany. One of its business areas is waste disposal, including this FAUN compactor waste vehicle, which is branded in the company’s current design. The model is a limited edition.
