Start with a base coat of acrylic paint, followed by a layer of scratch effects and finish with another layer of acrylic paint. Once dry, dampen the area with water and rub gently with a hard, stiff brush. This will create authentic scratches and a realistic wear pattern that will make your models look lively and detailed.
