• The Malibu SS has real US sports coupé flair
It was supposed to be the premium version when Chevrolet released the Chevelle as a new mid-size model in 1964. Its name: Malibu SS, the premium version of the then two-door sports coupe. WIKING revitalizes the historical forms and gives the Malibu SS the care that the US classic deserves. The slim body line of the sports coupé comes into its own with elaborate filigree printing. At the time, the model was available with six-cylinder in-line engines or V8 engines – today it drives in the USA as a legendary muscle car. The Chevrolet Malibu SS was part of WIKING’s American offensive in the 1960s in order to gain more international market opportunities with typical vehicles.
